Dj Runik, I've be been Mixing since I first discovered a Tape player. Started Dj around Middle school, my first gig was at my Catholic School Dance. I went on until the end of High School. I've had many name changes in the past from "DJ Quickmixx" in which my dad gave me when I first touch a Turntable. Beginning of High School I change it to "Dj Wizard" when I was spinning with Paul Gore "DJ Smoke1". Near the end of HS I got into Mash-ups. I release 5 mixes on MP3.com and my "Area Codes" Remix was the No.1 top downloads for 3weeks until people were complaining. My Name changed to "Dj Gwiz" (given by a party goer at a gig). Mid-02' I graduated from High School, Did not have any real plans, I did not want to live in my parents’ house for the rest of my life so I Join the military. From 02-09 I haven't touched a Recorded, but I always had an itch for it. Since I was in Japan for about 7years, I wasn't able to start Djing again because of the Navy's Crazy schedules. Once I got back in 09' I bought over 2k worth of Dj equipment. Now I'm back as DJ Runik, no changing this time. It’s here to stay. For the past Year I've been Remixing, creating Mash-ups and ready to get paid. I need to start writing my own future. its not going to change for me.
