Going to work can feel like a pain in the a88 some times. That is because you are it is something you have to do to make a living. Nobody can survive economically without having a steady job.
A DJ feels great when going to a gig. He/she gets a nice rush just from knowing that a crowd is going to be pumped out with his skills. When the DJ gets gets the crowd more pumped up, he/she gets a feeling that is hard to explain. It feels good though. Makes the DJ's skills improve right there on the spot, just by knowing that people are being energized by his/her mixing.
When a DJ doesn't have a gig for a while, he/she feels like something is missing. The urge to pump up a crowd gets bigger. A DJ has to feel the energy of a crowd.
If a place you go to and work for money gives these types of feelings & please, than that is not a real job IMO. It is part of your life & what you enjoy doing.
That's why I do not consider being a DJ a job, it is a lifestyle.

I take much pride in my mixes. Give it 100% every time I go live. This mix consists of my 2 favorite 80s genres (Italo Disco & Freestyle). I play all types of music these are my feel good genres. In this mix I feature guest DJs Redd & Leo, both Miami guys. I'm curious on how many music lovers out there still feel passion for 80s import dance & Freestyle. Your comments will be much appreciated.
