Canadians are nice, and then they get bored and leave Canada, and learn to be mean and funky, and develop an ego. They gradually figure out how to do really fantastic things with that attitude and start making music (for example). They go out to bars, then clubs, then afterhours clubs, then the Playa, then underground clubs. Not content just to consume consume consume, they tinker and make and soon thump thump thump comes the music and the people dance dance dance.

Afterwards the people come up and say "nice set" and the Canadians smile.

Or that's how it happened for me.
