Biography
At a young age Addit was already musically very talented. Around eight years of age he played djembé. At a certain point he played this instrument so well, that at a later age
he was asked to give workshops and performances at several locations in his neighbourhood. Just like most young people, Addit discovered nightlife. This is the
place were most people come to find new ‘love’. Addit on the other hand discovered his
love for turntables. He then bought brand new decks and practiced for many hours.
Addit started to create a style of his own and tried to find the musical style that suited
him the best. He tried UK garage but this style didn’t work for him. Then he tried
drum and bass but this style didn’t work for him either. Eventually house music stole
his heart. ‘’This is the music I can really put my soul into’’, he says. ‘’My style is
all-round, when I’m behind the decks I give the audience a lively and energetic
mixture of club, electro, progressive, techhouse, funky, tribal and Latin house. I want
to reach as many people as I can’’, continues Addit.
Addit more than proved himself to be a true crowd pleaser at many events such as
Dance Valley and Impulz Festival. When he is playing his set don’t expect a boring dj spinning his tunes, but a dj that wants to make everybody go wild and crazy. ‘’It
doesn’t matter if I am behind the turntables or working in the studio on new projects.
My goal is to always entertain people’’, explains Addit. For a while now Addit has been working hard in his studio to produce some quality tracks. His first production named: ‘Structure’ is going to be released by the brand new label Royal Class Records of which
he is also co-founder. Watch this man closely because his star is rising!
