Trixy T (Tarin) was originally born in London, U.K, but was brought up in South Africa in a small town called Pietermaritzburg (PMB). Trixy T first learnt to DJ on turntables 6 years ago and started off by playing deep/old school house, she them moved onto to spin more funky and fresh beats and landed her first residency at Another Level Nightclub. Since then people started to realise her sharp ear for house music, mixing talents and impeccable track selections and she became the first and only lady of house music in PMB. Tarin also became resident at club Blu Print and started to get gigs at other clubs such as 9 Bar, Reform Club, Skyy Bar and playing alongside some well known locals like Mimi Kesaris, Allistair (DBN), Lady Lea, Brett Jackson, Roger Goode (JHB) and Craig De Sousa (Cape Town). Trixy T moved to London in 2004 to explore a bigger picture in the DJ world. After getting to know people in the industry she landed herself a residency at an upmarket food and cocktail bar in central London called Eagle Bar Diner for almost 2 years, where she played fresh sexy funky vocal music to people from all ages, she also played at Smollenskys in canary Wharf, the She Never Sleep's parties at The Arizona in Camden and Raduno nightclub in Farringdon where her style pf playing was of a more upbeat tech electro sound. Wait, that's not all she also spun her latest beats on the decks of two very worldwide known clubs and big Promotion parties such as... Smartie Partie and the first ever Licked Launch at Turnmills and Dirty Dubbin' at Ministry of Sound. Trixy T returned back to South Africa in Oct 2007 and for New Years played her vinyl and cd's to a street party crowd of 8000 people at Boston’s Action Bar in Ballito, and has since played at a few clubs in Johannesburg namely... 88 Lounge, Groove Bar and Groove Cafe so far in 2008. Trixy plans on going even bigger for 2008 by getting into productions and eventually releasing a few cd's of her own.
