In the mid 80's I was living in Minneapolis and worked with a girl who carried around a big bag of early house music on cassettes she got in Chicago. Jack the House type of tracks. In 1988 I moved to Tampa and I was lucky to meet pioneers of Florida House Music as it began to explode all around me with Dj's such as Dj Three, Chris Fortier, Dj Chang, Jask, Dj Muggles, and international artists such as Sasha, Dave Seaman, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Danny Tenaglia. We partied at The Edge, AAHZ, The Metro, Simons, Firestone, Tuts Pyramid (where I did my first Dj gig) and many other clubs throughout Florida.
