A native of Miami, DJ Init3 got his start at 15 with a set of hand-me-down Technics. It was then he began to build his vinyl collection with mostly freestyle tracks. Discovering the sounds of reggae, he began mixing beats for some friends who used his material for their reggae rap performances. He eventually worked his way into the Miami club scene,begging resident DJ’s to let him spin a few tracks. His persistence paid off, and he was spinning in the clubs and underground raves, evolving through different genres; from italo house to hip hop, to industrial. He then discovered breaks, and fine tuned his sound to incorporate that genre. After several years hiatus, Init3 found his way back to the decks via the digital world, and started streaming his live mixes to people all over. His eclectic sound, precision mixing, and broad creativity draw fans everywhere in the world. If you ask him today what genre he favors, he’ll tell you: Techno that sounds like Progressive, Progressive that sounds like Electro, Electro that sounds like Tech House, Tech House that sounds like Minimal and Minimal that sounds like Breaks. Maybe some Hip Hop and Jungle.......
