Biography
Music surrounding me: Electronica, Hiphop, Jazz, R&B, Spoken Word, Reggae, World Music.
My neighbour received me with mixtapes containing "golden age-hiphop", in the mid-nineties. During a long time I listened mostly to hiphop, before I got interested in finding out more about its roots and origin; such as soul, funk, jazz and disco. This widened my perspectives and opened a wide window to the unlimited universe of music.
Got more into soul and R&B as a teenager. A little later, the electronic music knocked at my door. I couldn't refuse to let it inside to become a part of my heart, soul and body. Simultaneous, I digged deeper outside of the western stylish music and found out more about reggae and world music.
Now, I'm much into rhythmic music with a blend of soul and depth, music that feels good and natural to dance and chill to; especially house and drum n bass.
Write poetry, articles and chronicles about music and many other subjects; this spring I become a journalist.
I'm into music, write, read, travel, good conversations, photograph, reflect.
